Again, we were rewarded for getting up at the crack of dawn with a lovely sunrise over the Skidaway River.
Both my sister, Nancy, and my nephew, Justin, are involved in crew racing.  This early morning crew outing is for them!
As we approached the Savannah River, we caught a glimpse of this enormous container ship heading up the river to the port of Savannah.
An assortment of waterfowl taking a break in the sunshine on a lighted daymark.
The old lighthouse at Haig Point has been privately restored and is visible on the northeastern tip of Daufuskie Island.  The light was built in 1875 to mark the passage from Calibogue Sound to Savannah River.

The Heritage PGA Tour Golf Tournament at the Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island is taking place this weekend.  Below is a view of the Sea Pines Resort, albeit from a distance!
We arrived at Hilton Head Harbor in early afternoon.  After a quick wash down of the boat, we enjoyed a light lunch and relaxed the rest of the afternoon.  We ate dinner at the restaurant at the marina, Sunset Grill.  It was outstanding!  After dinner we went back to our boat to enjoy a glass of port, made a toast to Tucker and Willow and watched the sun set from the aft deck of the "Erika Lin".
