We decided to stay at the lock wall at Lock 39 til late in the afternoon, so earlier in the day we all (Lynda, Pinky and Ken from BraveHeart and Alice and Barry from Prowess) took a walk along the canal from Lock 39 to Lock 41-Gamebridge.  On the way back, at Lock 40-Thorah, we met Loopers Lace and Dick Lacey on Confetti.  They too, will be heading across Lake Simcoe.

Finally it was time to leave Lock 39 and make the short trip to the wall at Lake Simcoe.  We will get an early morning start tomorrow to make the crossing over Lake Simcoe to Orillia.
