We have been so fortunate in that mostly every day has been a good travel day.  Today was another.  However, soon after we arrived it started to shower!  Since the rain wasn’t heavy and we had arrived before noon,  we decided to walk into the town of Blind River and possibly have lunch.  It was an easy walk that took approximately 15 to 20 minutes.  We first found a grocery store and purchased a few items (this time we brought canvas bags!).  When we came out of the grocery store, the rain had stopped so we looked for a place for lunch.  Ken and I had corned beef, Pinky had turkey and Bob had roast beef.  All the sandwiches came on a wonderful homemade rye bread which was delicious!  Ever since we entered Canada, we have been tempted to try an item that appears on the menu, poutine.  Poutine is French fries with a dark brown gravy and cheese curds.  I was skeptical of the cheese curds and this particular restaurant offered a choice of cheese curds or mozzarella cheese.  We opted for the mozzarella.  Bob thoroughly enjoyed it, I thought it was good.   One of the things we have had to deal with on this journey is spiders.

They are everywhere and love to weave their webs at night.  Every morning, I find new webs and go around the boat sweeping them away.  I have even found them inside!  I know they are good for the environment because they catch insects, but these guys are going overboard (no pun intended!) when I find them.  The marina even sends out a crew each morning to sweep them away!  Below are some of the spectacular webs they have created.  The marina offered free wifi and I was all set to update the blog, however, the wifi was not working at that time, nor did it work the next morning.  Oh well, it will have to wait another day.
They are everywhere.
On the dock hand rails,
under the picnic tables,
and all along the docks!
But here comes the "Spider Patrol" to sweep them away!
