We listened to the weather report this morning around 8:00 am and decided to wait a little while longer before making a decision to leave.  At 9:30 am the report sounded more favorable so we decided to head out.  Besides, we were getting a little anxious sitting at anchor and the dogs were definitely anxious as they had not placed their feet on terra firma for over 48 hours!  Again BraveHeart took the lead.  We had decided to go straight from the anchorage to Killarney through the unprotected 20-mile route on Lake Huron and not travel the protected Collins Inlet passage as the 20-mile route was somewhat shorter.  BraveHeart took the protected Collins Inlet passage, so we will meet up with them in a day or two.  Although our route was unprotected, the wind was on our nose and the seas were favorable.  As we were travelling along, Bob noticed the water temperature had changed dramatically.  Just a few days ago the water temperature was 78 degrees.  Today, the temperature had dropped to 48.7 degrees.  I better keep an eye out for icebergs!
When in Killarney, you must stop at Herbert Fisheries (aka the Red Bus) for fresh fish and chips, outstanding!
