We had hoped to go to the Bevill Lock Visitor Center and visit the old paddle wheel snag boat that was located just before the Bevill Lock.  Unfortunately we arrived on November 11th, Veterans Day, and they were closed!

Even though the leaves are rapidly falling from the trees, the scenery is still outstanding.

Boats from all over travel the waterway.  This boat is from Germany!

It is hard to see in this photo, but this is the first Spanish Moss we have seen on the trip.  The trees in this area were "dripping" with moss.
Today we will be anchoring, something we enjoy doing, but haven't done much of due to the convenience of being in a marina and getting the dogs to shore.  Unfortunately there are no marinas nearby, so anchoring it will be.  Sweet Pea anchored first, then Loop Dreams anchored, pointing in the opposite direction and rafted to Sweet Pea.  We then came in and rafted to Sweet Pea.  Once we were all set, Bob and Jim (Sweet Pea) got in our dinghy and set another anchor.  We should be nice and secure tonight and shouldn't swing at all.

The sunset tonight was simply out of this world!!
