Up early and Bob got this amazing sunrise.
Once the sun was up, it was time to leave.  We pulled up the anchor and Loop Dreams, Sweet Pea and Erika Lin continued our voyage south. Only one lock today-
and then some stunning scenery.  You may have heard of the "White Cliffs of Dover".  Well, the Tenn-Tom waterway has it's own version, "The Cliffs of Epes".

By mid-day, we have arrived at our destination, Demopolis, AL.  Demopolis is not a destination place for many people, but all Loopers have to stop here.  The next fuel stop is Mobile and that is over 200 miles away.  So anyone going down river stops here for fuel and repairs. The new marina, Kingfisher Bay Marina, is finished and open.  There is a spiffy new boater's covered BBQ area and a well-equipped laundry area.  There are free pump out facilities at each slip that are self-service.  We will be staying here a few days, the weather forecast does not appear to be favorable for traveling; so tomorrow we will take care of the usual chores, laundry and grocery.
