I know, I know, shame on me.  I have been so lax in posting our tales!!  Since we arrived in Ft. Myers, Bob and I have been keeping busy.  Lynda has a friend and former co-worker that lives across the Caloosahatchie River, in Cape Coral and we enjoyed an evening with Donna, her husband Bob and their twins, Eric and Tina.  I can't believe that it has been more than 12 years since they left Connecticut and moved to Cape Coral!  We have also enjoyed time on the dock with the many folks that return to their boats in Legacy Harbour year after year.  They come from Minnesota, Kansas, Illinois, Nova Scotia and even Connecticut to name a few.  A few Loopers have passed through the marina and we have enjoyed spending time with them and then said good bye as they continue on their looping ways. The sunsets and sunrises have been spectacular, a few are posted below.  Today we enjoyed spending time with friends from Massachusetts who are also dockmates of ours at our home port back in Mystic, CT.  Dave and Ingrid (on Equinox) are spending part of the winter in Bradenton and drove to Ft. Myers to visit us.  Thanks for the visit today.  It was great to see you again!  Lynda's mom and sister Nancy will be arriving on Monday and will spend the next six days with us on the boat.  Hopefully the wonderful weather we have been having will continue as we plan to visit Sanibel and spend a lot of time out in the warm Florida sunshine!  We plan to be here another month and in early February hope to meet up with and spend some time with other friends from our home port, Jack and Carol, as they are making their way to Ft. Myers aboard their boat, Irish Rover.
So, as you can see, we are enjoying our time here in Ft. Myers and keeping busy doing pretty much nothing!!  Life is good aboard the Erika Lin!
